I've got a dongle from my surge. I recently upgraded to the ionic and installed the windows 10 version of fitbit connect. When I try to sync the ionic to my computer, the dongle it says tracker not found. I've tried uninstalling the device but get the same issue.

@Pandemic It's nice to see you on the Community. Thanks for getting in touch about this.
I appreciate that you mentioned you have a Dongle because it came with your Surge. Fitbit Ionic uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) technology to sync with phones, tablets and certain computers. It won't sync with a Dongle, you'll need a phone with a compatible operating system or a Windows 10 computer with Bluetooth.
Learn more about it by checking this article: How do I set up my Fitbit device?
Let me know if you have any additional questions.

I see. So any BLE Bluetooth dongle would allow for syncing to PC? The fitbit dongle I see advertised is BLE, I assume?

@Pandemic Thanks for getting back.
Ionic won't sync with a Dongle, you'll need to install the Windows 10 app in your computer if it has Bluetooth. Learn more about it by checking this article.
I've shared information about clarification on Dongle specs with my team, thanks for your report.
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
