Does anyone know if the Ionic will connect to a Samsung A70 please?

It's great to see you around @SunsetRunner. I was reviewing the list of supported devices and I couldn't find Samsung A70.

Our team is always testing new devices and adding them to the list. In the meantime, if you have a Fitbit device and you would like to set it up, you can try the set up procedure but I can't confirm that this will work, because it hasn't been tested by our Fitbit team.

I would recommend you to keep an eye on the article to review when new devices are added.

I'll be around if you need further assistance.

Wishing i had never bought a fit bit product. So, I went through the set up procedure and even though it took about 2hrs and said it had failed, it does seem to be working at the moment. Hooray, after owning it for about 8 months i can finally use it. But then more disappointment. I thought, this is great, I'll set up Fitbit Pay, only to find out it is pretty non existent in the uk. My Smartwatch is not all that smart it seems.

Features seem to be difficult or impossible to set up.  Not really sure why you sell these in the uk market.

Still. At least i have weather back at the moment. Even that had failed for the last 4 months or so.

Can we not have something where all the "advertised" features just work seamlessly?  For the cost of the Ionic, i am very disappointed with it.  You don't start finding out what is and isn't supported, until after you have spent a lot on money on what is meant to be a Top Of The Range product.

Thanks for getting back @SunsetRunner. Sorry you feel that way. Your comments and feedback are appreciated.

It's good to hear that your Ionic is syncing to the Samsung A70. Regarding Fitbit Pay, actually there are supported banks in UK, you can learn more about it by checking this article

If you're having any issue while setting up any specific feature, Fitbit has many channels of communication that you can use to contact us and we'll be happy to assist you.

Let me know if you have any additional question or you need further assistance. Smiley Happy

 boon. by Wirecard

• Danske Bank (Mastercard)

• Santander

• Starling Bank (Mastercard)

• Revolut (Mastercard)

• PFS (Mastercard)

The only one i have ever even heard of is Santander.  Apart from that there are no popular / High Street banks there. My cards are Visa & Mastercard and were all unsupported. Where are banks such as RBS, Lloyds, Nat West & Barclays.  These are probably the ones most used in the UK. Anyway, I'll set an alarm on my £300 Top of the range Fitbit Smartwatch, to remind me to check again in a years time.

Hi, My Ionic and A70 have been working  fine together for the last couple of months. No issues. Even though it said  that set up had failed, it is synching fine. Sent from my Samsung Galaxy smartphone.

I have the Alta HR, and they were quite clear regarding issue.  They said i should use a home computer or another device as they have compatibility issues with the a70.

Any chance there is going to be further support for the a70? No email, text, or phone call notifications are working.

Please can fitbit put testing of Samsung A70 on the top of their testing list. It's really annoying, I've had charge 2 for a couple of years and it worked great with my iphone. I had to upgrade my phone, I decided to switch to android, I presumed as it was running the latest version it would sync. I can sync it to windows but that's no good if I go for a run and I want to track my route stats.

Another disgruntle customer who has wasted hours to set up Charge 2 with Samsung Galaxy A70. It's been working so well since last 2 years on earlier version of the galaxy device.

Fitbit needs to address this issue as a priority.

Hoping for the best.

Stay active fellas, Fitbit or no Fitbit !

My Fitbit charge 3 worked perfectly with my A70 for 2.5 months then stopped syncing.   Now cant return it as out of return period and customer support very unsupportive.  I now have an expensive waste of £125 which I couldn't really afford in the first place! I loved it whilst it worked.  Fitbit support please add the Samsung A70 as mine is only.4 months into contract and i have only had my Fitbit charge 3 since July.  Very disappointed

Thanks for responding! Quite shockingly my fitbit versa notified me of an incoming call yesterday but when tested again...zero, zilch, na-da, nothing happened. I was so excited at first! PLEASE, please, please add Samsung A70 to your list as a priority; so many people would be incredibly happy. Looking forward to the day it happens!

I have the A70 and can't sync my phone. How long does it take your team to test phones. Finding this very frustrating

it doesnt. They tell you it does in the store and then you get it home and it isnt compatible with an A70 [that was my main question when purchasing as my new phone is an A70]
