Don't do a factory reset!

On Sunday I literally climbed a mountain (1500' up and down in snow with crampons). Number of stairs recorded on Ionic - 0 as in zero. On Monday I ran a three mile out and back...exact same course both ways. There was a 15% difference in the mileage recorded out and back. Okkayy. Time for a soft reset. No improvement. Okkayy. Time for a factory reset.

Game over. The watch will not come back to life. I tried all the methods listed. No joy. Since the watch won't come to any form of life there is no way to up load a firmware fix...the watch is toast.

Have you tried a restart?

I have permanent indentations on my fingers doing the left button, bottom right button hold-down "restart"...about 50 times. Also tried the ol' all three button hold down technique. No joy.

This is exactly what happened to mine as well - dead after a reset.

I had updated the software to the latest version before resetting so that is not an issue either. As mine is out of warranty I guess they don't care much. Getting a different device this time - https://www.bestbuy.com/site/samsung-galaxy-watch-active-smartwatch-40mm-aluminum-black/6325856.p
