Dreaded battery drain issue is back!

I have been loving my Ionic for last nearly 2 years. I brag about its battery life (4-5 days between charges) and robustness. 

Well, I might have jinxed it. For the last week or so, it has been draining down to 0% within 12-16 hours. It happens so fast that I can’t even get it a boost sometimes to last a day. 

After a few attempts, I successfully updated the firmware to 27.70.7.14. Did 2-3 factory resets, removed all apps than what FitBit needs (can’t remove them) and have notifications off, constant sync off, and even Bluetooth disconnected from the phone!

 

Still, same results. 

@Fitbit - don’t screw up my Ionic! Just get it back to how it was!!! HELP!

Same problem, however today, my Ionic has been slowly charging WHILE I'M WEARING IT.  I would like help with these inconsistencies.
