I'd like to request a feature for the Ionic watches where it no longer fail shortly after 1-Year warranty expires. If the problem is related to charging with something other than a low-power output computer USB port, maybe include a specific charger/cable assembly with the product to prevent this from happening.

Hey @madgrizzle
"Make the watch not fail" doesn't seem like much of a feature suggestion. A "feature" is a thing that is added to an item intended to make it more useful. Your suggestion just says that you want to prevent it from being not useful. I suggest you post this question in the Fitbit Community (community.fitbit.com). There are lots of experts there that can help you with your problem.

It was just a "snippy" comment as I've spent a lot of time in the Ionic forum, along with many other's that had their watch fail shortly after warranty expired and being told we can buy a new one at a 25% discount (some have been offered 40% discount though).

Ok, that makes a lot more sense for that comment. Hope your Ionic Watch can be restored.

No, fitbit isn't offering to fix them.. they are just giving us the opportunity to buy a new one at a discounted price.. with no assurance the new one will last much past the 1-year warranty.

Nice to see you around @madgrizzle and @x95! Sorry for the delay.
Thank you for your feedback in regards our warranty, we strive for excellent customer service, and customer satisfaction remains our number one goal, however, the demands of running a global business require that we now enforce our warranty consistently.
Each scenario is different, but if they didn't offer you a different option; must be because they don't have it. Nevertheless, I really appreciate your feedback; this is the best way to make your voice heard. I understand you've invested in the Fitbit Family; however, Fitbit as any other company have policies to follow through. While customer satisfaction remains our number one goal, the demands of running a global business require that we enforce our warranty consistently.
By the way, I'm moving your post to the Ionic Board for categorization purposes.
Thanks for your understanding.

Totally agree @x95 . Fitbit watches are made to fail just beyond their warranty period. I have read up and it is exactly the same scenario for so many purchasers.
My Ionic battery failed 2 months after the watch’s 365 day warranty period. After going through their support team advice, response from Fitbit was “"we unquestionably want to add more years to the relationship that started when you chose us. The good thing is, you can purchase through our retailers near you, and your purchase will come with new warranty. (www.fitbit.com)."
Rob us of our money then insult us some more by requesting that we go out a buy another expensive piece of **ahem**e.
