Edit to add - I have done ALL of the suggested resets and restarts numerous times......still nothing but the flashing logo

See here with mine. And all they offer is 25% off a new one.

Yes I just got off phone with them again. They said that I'm one of the first with this problem. I said look on the community forums many have had this problem. Even Google it. He said nothing they can do but the 25%off. I told him I will post on the forums everyday how bad the ionic and there customer service is.

Same here and after 30 minutes of communication I too was offered the same 25% off...I'd really like for my $250 Ionic to work longer 2 years...and its been under that amount of time. This really stinks and clueless act is what's most insulting.

I went and read the original thread posted after the original update in December then went and followed a suggestion and managed to get my device to turn back on...... I held down all three buttons at the same time, it was stated to do so for 10 seconds but I had to do it closer to 20 seconds but it did come back on. Hopefully this helps fix you guys device as well (figures crossed). I'm going to fully charge it then see how it goes from there, good luck all and I hope this helps someone!!

Thanks DeltaChic1913 but I have done that exact thing several times. I even held the buttons for a minute......I still get the flashing Fitbit logo. The only change is the frequency with which it comes on and off....no real pattern or anything that I can see.
I am clearly not the only one with the issue after the update. Definitely not a user error......yet Fitbit refuses to accept any culpability with this. It's sad because I really did like the watch.

I find it pretty sad that they only respond to the people that are within warranty or purchase from an authorized dealer. they have pulled some of my posts down and even blocked me from chatting on the online help

@DarinD check your profile - all your posts are there. They haven't been pulled down. Sometimes posts are merged to keep things in one thread. As for the chat, it depends on how the internet was doing at that time. It's happened to me with other sites. The do respond to you and they offered you a discount even though you purchased it used via eBay. Did you get with the eBay seller or eBay directly to get your refund?

@BrenFeg did you get with customer support? Tagging all over isn't going to help if you don't get with customer support. As a single parent, you don't have the time to be all over social media when a call to support might just be the answer you need.

thanks for the suggestion but I held all 3 buttons for 2 minutes to no avail... Fitbit (Google!) needs to pony up. Too many watches down to threat us this way.

I called they said it's a defective device out of warranty. No it's a defective program

@BrenFeg @pb1985 @DarinD @drace66 It's nice to see you on the Community.
@Odyssey13 Thanks a lot for your input.
I appreciate the time you took to share your experience with our Support team. Rest assured that each case is reviewed individually and the option provided by our team is based in the Fitbit Warranty. If you have any question about the option you were given, you may want to contact our team back.
@pb1985 Thanks for getting back. I would like you to provide me with more details about what you're experiencing. Is your Ionic not working after you updated it to the latest firmware? Is your Ionic's display working?
I'll be around if you have any additional questions.
