Fit Bit Ionic mysteriously died

On my departure for vacation I forgot to charge my fit bit ionic.  I caught it at the end of the day & recharged to 99% in Odessa TX.  We then drove to Big Bend for our vacation.  Big Bend has not WiFi, no cell phone coverage, & very spotty to NO satellite coverage.  The Ionic seemed to be tracking my daily activity but I noticed that the time was falling behind.  I tried to sync frequently but my phone said i needed an upgrade.  The iPhone & Ionic refused to synch. I made sure to charge every night; usually starting at 70% & charged to 99-100%.  By weeks end the Ionic appeared to be shutting down.  It is now a black screen.  I can plug it into my computer & it will say it has no charge.  after an hour or so I will see the fit bit dashboard icon but that is all i can get on the Ionic.   Is there any hope of resurrecting the watch?  It infuriates me I lost all my hiking in the mountains.  This is the second bad experience with a fit bit product.  I don't think I will buy another, no matter how good the reviews.  Help!

Have you tried restarting it by pressing and holding the left button and bottom right button together for 15 secs?

 

If you do manage to get it to turn back on, this help article might help with your syncing issues.
