Try a RESTART and do it several times if necessary.

Hi Chot,

 

I think we maybe have the same problem. Mine is dead too since 4 days. Sometimes, maybe 3 times a day, it still tries to restart (I see the logo on the screen for maybe 10 seconds), but it doesn’t succeed in it and it dies again immediately after that. I tried already a lot of things, but without any success. Like 3 or 4 times a factory reset. Or starting and stopping the watch. Or reinstalling the Fitbit app on my android. 

And all the problems started after the new update. 

I have a Fitbit Ionic since January 2018. It’s my 4th now, during my warranty of 2 years. I hope this one lasts much longer. Updates are dangerous!

You need to contact Customer Support.

They contacted me, just before I wrote the message... 😉

I have a Fitbit Ionic since January 2018. It’s my 4th now, during my warranty of 2 years. I hope this one lasts much longer. Updates are dangerous!

I went through all of the steps to re-set the Fitbit, sent a video and nothing worked. They  sent me a free  postage return label to return my Fitbit and they  are sending me another one.

I had to video tape all of what they asked me to do to the device and they sent me a postage free return label to return my device and they are going to send me another one.

it happened to me now too.

I tried to factory reset mine by pushing in all three buttons, it didn't
work. I was asked to record the process of trying to reset it. The next
day they sent me a postage free stamp to send my device back for
replacement.

It probably needs a charge, since the battery only lasts about 4-5 days on a single charge.
