FitBit and salt water reaction?

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Whenever I have several days of swimming in salt water with my Fitbit, I get red, angry, raw areas on my wrist under the face of the Fitbit. I have seen articles on the chemical reaction between the battery and saltwater (even the sodium in sweat). I can wear my Fitbit without any problems at all other times. This reaction/burn only happens with repeated exposure to salt water.  Is anyone else having problems like this?
