Fitbit Iconic Notification issues

I've had my fitbit iconic for a few weeks now and am loving it but after the update a few days ago I haven't been receiving notifications. I'm still syncing and it's tracking everything but now notifications no matter what I seem to do. I tried force stopping the app, uninstall and reinstall, disconnecting the WiFi, forgetting the network, restarting everything, the works. I'm at a loss as what to do now.

 

 

I have the iconic paired with android.

@caitfmac If you’ve just done an update, you may find that the Ionic has switched off Notifications. Swipe left to right from the main clock screen to bring up the Notifications settings and make sure it’s set to “Receive from phone” and not “Off”.

I did check that- thanks. Notifications are turned on and still nothing.

From the clock screen of the iconic swipe RIGHT under notifications make sure it states "receive from phone" if not turn it on

Ended up letting my battery die all the way and since I've charged it there have been no issues. Thanks for the feedback!

Hi Which Android Version you have paired with? 

My experience with Android 8.0 was, I have to re-activate the notification steps.

The notification always die off by it self, what i do was: from Fitbit mobile app, check the notification column. if it show the all notification option, I'll try disable and enable one or two notification. 
if it show to the screen of enable notification, the I'll just to disable and enable fitbit notification from the selection. 

usually it works.
