My Fitbit Ionic has been frequently shutting off and having a dead screen in the past month. Today was the 4th time, all during runs, and today it happened twice on the same run! The screen will go dead .5 mile into my run and show the Fitbit logo while the device is unresponsive for a minute before restarting. It ends my current run and shuts off my music, leaving me having to try to start everything again mid-run or stopping completely to fix it. It’s a huge blow mentally to have to stop during a run for technical problems, hurts my mileage and pace, and what is recorded by the watch is inaccurate.
Has this been a problem for anyone else that you’ve found a solution for? @Fitbit is this a known problem/is there anyway to fix this? I’ve used Fitbit for the past 5 years with no problem and would hate to leave but I can’t keep using a watch that interrupts my runs and loses half my data.

@AKCat It's nice to see you on the Community. Thanks for taking the time to share your experience with Ionic.
Sorry to hear that you're experiencing this with your watch, I totally understand how you feel to stop in the middle of a run and fix your Ionic. Let's try restarting your Ionic and check its functionality after this.
Keep me posted. I'll be around if you have any additional questions.

Same thing has been happening with my ionic! I have had this watch since it came out and haven’t had an issue. It’s been great! Lately however, it keeps shutting off while on a run and I am forced to restart it. Charge has been high as 85% too. Help Fitbit! Hope this can get corrected or release a New Ionic that is even better! I love this smart watch!

My ionic has cut out during runs his week. Very frustrating.
I recently did the update. Is this the reason?
