Fitbit Ionic Charging cable

My fitbit ionic cable is not charging on contact with the ionic. All the contacts are clean on both the ionci and the charger. There is not dirt or loose parts. When I connect the charger to the ionic from a good power source, nothing happens now. when I slightly turn the charging cable head(connected to ionic) I see the charging start(percentage pops up). when I release my hand from it, the percentage goes away thus not charging. I believe its the cable and not the ionic because my wife has an ionic also and the same thing happens.

Does this happen with each cable with each Ionic?

My problem usually are little metal parts such to the magnets.

one cable is worse than the other, but each cable does it. I'm not sure if its wear with the cable or not.
