Fitbit Ionic Swim Mode - Screen Blank

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

Hi there,

I bought a Fitbit Ionic in April 2020 and only went swimming just yesterday with it. It was fully charged prior and managed to clock the distance swam for about 5 laps. After which the screen went blank and dead.

I’m unable to restart the watch too and don’t dare to charge it yet in case water got in. But it’s supposed to be waterproof right?

Would appreciated some help here please.

I've never had trouble with fitbits until today. Went swimming in a pool today with a fully charged ionic fitbit. When I got home the screen logo was flashing, then died. Have tried holding the buttons etc, charging but nothing. Love fitbit but as an expensive watch not very happy. Meant to be waterproof??
