Has anyone has issues with the connection? I can hear the music but volume controls don't work from the watch and the buds respond only to the voice command "Alexa" when connected to the phone. Thus, I have no way to adjust volume and they are LOUD.

Best AnswerAmazon tech support for the buds says the advanced features for volume control between the Ionic (as it's only a "4.0 radio receiver") won't work...which is very unfortunate. Can control Bose and Sony headphones fine with the watch. They quote this for the buds "Bluetooth 5.0 Hands-Free Profile (HFP) support for calling, Advanced Audio Distribution Profile (A2DP) support for audio streaming, Audio/Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP) for voice control of media sessions"

Best AnswerThanks for doing the research on this issue. I made this unfortunate discovery, this morning, while gearing up for my morning workout. You mention Bose and Sony headphones. For anyone else reading this, add to that list the Jaybirds. They have worked completely & flawlessly with the Ionic.
Best AnswerSo I've noticed this same problem and found one solution. If you set one of the touch controls of the echo buds to the volume up and/or volume down command, you can turn the headphones up and down while connected to the ionic. It obviously takes away some functionality of the headphones away if you already have the touch controls assigned to other commands you enjoy, but it does work.
