Hi,
I'd be really grateful for some help with my fitbit ionic, I've been trying to resolve a problem with it since friday last week.
My fitbit suddenly stopped working last Friday despite having circa 60% battery life. I've tried a soft and hard reboot to no avail. The latter of these two options took me to a screen showing a red cross and a message saying that data had not cleared and asking me to synch and try again. The watch does appear to charge and I've been able to change the watch face and access the watch menus but it just keeps rebooting. It doesn't count any steps. I've contacted fitbit via chat but they weren't interested to try and find a solution, all they wanted to do was offer me a discount for a new one. I like my ionic but I've lost faith in it (and fitbit in general) at the moment. If anyone could offer any advice, I'd be really grateful. Many thanks....

I tried calling someone in Fitbit support but the number doesn’t work from my current location (holiday in Crotia). I tried to have a live chat with someone yesterday but my watch battery was running low (which happens quite quickly due to constant rebooting). I tried again this morning but had what I can only describe as the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. I explained the problems I was having but it was clear from the outset that the person I was talking to had literally no interest in trying to help me resolve the issues and referred me to the discount offered on a new watch. They closed the chat very quickly and did not engage in any form of help whatsoever.
i am extremely dissatisfied with Fitbit, the way I feel at the moment, I’d never buy another Fitbit product again.
My watch is currently fully charged, I can access all the menus, however, it’s unresponsive when the power is removed. When I put the charger back on, the watch reboots and goes back into a cycle of constant rebooting (vibrates on completion) and returns to the clock face.
id like this matter escalated to your senior management and raised as a formal complaint. I know that lots of other people have experienced this problem because I’ve seen this in various forums. Im
lost for words and extremely disillusioned with Fitbit, the person I just dealt with on chat (think her name was geraldine) was particularly awful.
