Fitbit Ionic has wasted 2 days.

Bought Ionic on Sunday and spent all day trying to do first setup. But it just not updating firmware. So i paid 239.99£ to waste 2 days and all the info to help is to keep restarting your phone. Its a bit of a joke that when you buy something and you not even able to use it state away. I have tried 2 different phones. Wifi never works and Bluetooth it take all day and then just before its finished it will stop. How can you make people to wait 8h to update firmware? And then it fails. Why its not working through wifi? All the stress it has given me..... It was suppose to be enjoyment?

I bought the Ionic, same problem. Fitbit doesn't like to advertise this, but their products DO NOT WORK if you have a single other bluetooth capable device within the vicinity of it, whether it's paired with the phone or not. This includes things such as your car, Google home, or other bluetooth speakers.

The Wi-Fi connectivity did not work on mine either. Garbage product produced by a company that has terrible customer service. Return it if you can.

@notworkingfitbi For the ionic to turn WiFi on .as the update prompts. It must be plugged in and charging. 

 

@NicoleG123 only with the last update did I have a problem while the Bluetooth speakers where playing music. 

Even while having 2 soeakers playing music. I've got Bluetooth 5.0 

4 fitbits connected. and nearby, I haven't had problems setting up a 5th Fitbit. 

Even setup my brothers fitbitFto his account through my phone while playing music through the. Car radio and having 3 more fitbits in the car, only one was paired to my phone
