I have tried all of your suggestions over and over again. My phone is supported (Samsung Galaxy Note 9), My Fitbit tells me I am up to date on updates. I have a Wi-Fi connection. My phone is brand new and has auto updates installed. Bluetooth is on. I have no speakers, headsets, etc. paired to my phone. I only use my phone to synch (logged into my account and I do not see anyway to synch via my computer). My Fitbit battery is NOT critically low. There is no pink update button on the Fitbit, so I am presuming the firmware is up to date. I have quit and started the Fitbit app MANY TIMES. I have turned off and on Bluetooth MANY TIMES. I have restarted my phone MANY TIMES. I have restarted my IONIC MANY TIMES. As stated above, I do not see anyway to synch via my computer (which is the next to last suggestion). I have uninstalled and reinstalled my app MANY TIMES. I have not had this problem at all until the latest update. I am married to a software programmer and had him check out everything for me as well - so he has also done this MANY TIMES. He has a GARMIN - so after all of this, I am switching to a GARMIN as well.

Same here. This is my 2nd Ionic under warranty as the last one went to the black screen issue and had to be replaced. My warranty is up here in November. Days left to see if Fitbit sends me a 3rd watch or do they stall to get past their obligation to honor their warranty. Here's what I sent them tonight:
I got a new Fitbit Ionic replacement on Warranty because the old one died. Also got a new band because the old band wouldn't connect to the new Ionic watch base. Went to turn it all on this past Sunday and sync. It took several tries, but eventually synced and updated Firmware to 27.33.1.30. I was also able to install a custom watch face that I recently found out will cost money to keep. After that, I've only been able to get it to sync once. Updated steps to ~5700 steps and then haven't been able to sync since. Can't update the watch face, can't sync steps to my phone app, etc. Still shows last sync as Sunday at 12:44 p.m. I've tried all the steps advised for an android phone at: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1866/?l=en_US&c=Topics%3ASyncing&fs=Search&pn=1#...
I've uninstalled the app on my phone, cleared memory/cache, restarted the Ionic several times, restarted Blue Tooth several times. I've also tried factory reset on the Ionic itself. It is now stuck on the rotating language screen advising I go to www.fitbit.com/setup. Stuck royally. Still won't sync, useless piece of garbage
