Fitbit Ionic not connecting with my phone

Hello. I got my Dad's Fitbit Ionic for my birthday. Yes, I'm aware that it has connection issues, but this one is weird. I can see its connected through bluetooth (not talking about classic mode for controlling music), and the Fitbit app even shows my current heartrate. But when I try to sync it, it just loops. I'm not going to risk losing my stuff again and reset the watch/app data. Can someone help?

Have you tried resetting it - not resetting to factory settings...?...?

Press the Left and bottom right buttons together and hold them 'til the Fitbit icon pops up, then release and it reboots...

After waiting for a bit, it finally synced. I will keep this in mind, if it does it again. Thank you!

It's useful when the Ionic is doing any strange things - or just being slow..! It's more a 'reboot' than a 'reset', because it doesn't change any settings...

Hi there @VenomousSteam81. Welcome to Community Forums.

I'd recommend you follow these steps for syncing your device:

- Force quit the Fitbit App.
- Turn off the bluetooth on your phone
-Turn back on the bluetooth on your phone
- Open the Fitbit App and retry syncing.

If this does not work please try a restart of your Fitbit Ionic by following these instructions.

I'll be around

Have you tried this? Restart your Ionic. Log out from the Fitbit App, reboot your phone, log back in to the Fitbit App. Turn off Bluetooth, wait 10 seconds, turn it back on. Force quit the Fitbit App. If this is not working then let me know will find out another way. Because I resolved my issue this way. You can try also. H‑E‑B Partner Login
