My Ionic battery died, then once I attempted to charge it, it will not charge. I have already attempted to restart it. I have also tried to reset it. Nothing is working.
This is frustrating because this is my 3rd replacement in under a year. I have been unable to use it more often than able to in this past year.

Hi @Solena Oh dear, that does sound more than annoying. When you said you tried to reset it, di you try a Factory Reset usingbthe buttons? If not give that a go, but in any case I will flag your post for a moderators attention. Sounds like you are havingna bad run.
FACTORY RESET USING BUTTONS
On the watch, hold all three buttons for about twelve seconds. This triggers the 2-button hardware reboot after about eight seconds.
- When the Fitbit logo appears, then disappears, release the bottom right button, then continue holding the left and top right buttons until you feel a strong vibration. This indicates the factory reset was initiated.
- This process may take several seconds, and eventually, the Fitbit logo appears and the device boots and displays go to Fitbit.com/setup.
- If you fail to release the bottom right button in time, or otherwise don't follow the procedure precisely, the Fitbit logo reappears quickly and boots without factory reset.
If the device turns on, please go back to the Fitbit app and setup your device back to your account with these steps. Make sure your watch is plugged into a wall plug or a computer, next to the router and that there are no other trackers or devices with Bluetooth on nearby when setting up. Please log into your account, go to account on the upper right corner, there look for "setup a device" and tap on it. Follow the instructions on the screen and let the watch charge for 2 hours.

Ionics are dropping like flies all over the place. Factory reset does NOT solve these issues. I've factory reset mine twice in two days. Ionic immediately starts losing time and failing to sync. Is it the update that is killing them? If so, how do you set them up without updating to IOS 3.0?

I've only had mine for 1 year & only use it for basics and tracking some of my workouts. ..now it's starting to really give me issues. I just had to struggle with my bluetooth to connect, restarting my phone, force stopping the APP, reconnecting, etc etc.. such a pain. I'll see what happens after the 3.0 update- but it's also been freezing- sluggish- and previous to this the BT wouldn't stay connected. I was giving FB a chance over the other competitors cause of price- but I'm starting to see why people put have put the FB on a low scale. 😞
