Fitbit Ionic not switching on

My Ionic was working fine till this morning (20.10.2019) during morning walk. Thereafter, suddenly the screen went dark and the watch became dead like a brick. Tried pressing the single side button to switch on the watch but failed. Thereafter, pressed all three buttons at a time but to no avail. Plugging to the charger did not help either. While kept plugged to the wall charger, the watch became hot but could not be switched on. The watch is only 13 months old. 

Pl. help.

My ionic is doing the same thing after a week with new update

Mine is doing the same thing.  I think update killed it.  It’s 19 months old.
