Fitbit Ionic not syncing

My fitbit ionic is hardly ever syncing to my huawei p10 lite. Usually when I sync the fitbit to my phone manually because it hasnt done it in over an hour (when its meant to automatically do it) it takes a long time and then eventually after a few minutes it comes up with a red circle with a ! in it.

Is your phone on the supported list? If its not some things will not work correctly

But a restart generally does it. Do it at least 3 times.
