My wife got me a Fitbit Ionic for Valentines day and I was looking yesterday and the right top button is missing. I did not do anything that would have caused this. Is there something that can be done?

I think the first step would be to look below and click on the Warranty Policy. Then I would look at the top of the page, or under the help link below or help in the app and Contact Fitbit.
