So my fitbit ionic just startet boot looping. Screen turns on and off, logo showing. Holding 2 or 3 buttons does nothing.
This is like the fifth issue I've had with this watch. From the forums I can see that boot loop pretty much means the watch is dead?
Fortunately I am protected by norwegian consumer laws. I will get a replacement.
But in my honest opinion, the fitbit ionic is the least reliable consumer electronics product I have EVER tried.
I have had so many issues with pairing, Bluetooth, syncing, fitbit pay and now this reboot loop. Very disappointing as I really like the functionality when it works, but my advice for anyone based on my experience is stay away from fitbit ionic 😞

The store replaced my Ionic, got a brand new one, so that's good news.
The bad news is the new one will not update. All I get is this screen on my phone:
I have tried 3 different wifi networks. Seems I will have to go with bluetooth update (which will probably take forever).
How is it possible for a supposedly high-tech device like the fitbit to have _so_ _many_ _problems_ with simple things like connecting to a wifi network?
*edit*. Doing the setup via a PC instead of a mobile phone. For some reason that works better, even though I am using exactly the same wifi network. So an issue with the mobile app, maybe? Anyway, very stressful that this device and the software is so unreliable!
