The recent firmware update has totally taken my ionic out. Can’t charge, restart and chat help have been mostly useless. Last advice from chat help was “buy another device with a bit of a discount”
Everything was working fine before the firmware upgrade!
Best AnswerHi all, try and hold down all 3 buttons for up to 30 seconds to see if this will reboot the device. You might have to do this a few times if initially unsuccessful.

Best AnswerHi @Sirinsomniac no-one is saying you are at fault. If the 3 button reset hasn't helped can you contact Fitbit support here and go from there. Is it less than a year old? if so it would be then warrantied still.
Okay i just did the 3 button reset thing and it fired back up and is now taking a charge again. Sync when through just fine. Weird thing but everything seems to be working correctly again. Again I just held all 3 buttons down at the same time till till it fired back up.

Unfortunately @Sirinsomniac although it does help the majority there are always some where it won't. Even my own Ionic (2nd to be precise after the first one failed) suffered exactly the same problem and nothing I do will coax it back to life so I now have a Versa 2
