Upgraded to from Fitbit Alta to Fitbit Ionic, can not sync with my Samsung J3. Had no issue syncing with my Alta. I can sync with my iPad and it will update my Samsung J3. I have tried all the suggestions to sync but none work.

The J3 is unfortunately not on the Supported list. A recent update seems to have stopped the phone and fitbits connecting (there are posts from J3 users on all forums) As it is not on the list it may or may not work again. There are apparently no plans at the moment to include it on the Supported list. Sorry
