Fitbit Ionic won't connect/sync with Pixel 2 XL

I got my Fitbit Ionic back in November and it worked fine. I have a Pixel 2 XL and had it synced and working fine with the fitbit ionic for awhile and then all of a sudden one day it just stopped working. It wouldn't sync, won't let me change face etc. I've done a few different methods to try to get it to work. I've rebooted my fitbit, phone and Bluetooth connection. I've change my developer mode on my phone etc. I disconnected my Fitbit and tried to reset it up on the app and now it won't even connect. I'm at a lose of what to do and after spending $300+ and it having been fine and now not working I'm kinda upset. I love Fitbit and I've had a few first time I've had such an issue, hoping to find a resolution.

Have you tried forgetting the Bluetooth connection, deleting the app then reinstalling the app and establishing a new connection? That may help.

Same here, i thought it was becuase i upgraded my Pixel 2 XL to Android P DP2, but reverted back to Android O and still the same issue, only way i can sync now is via laptop. Also the past few weeks the battery life of my iconic has been rubbish, 2 days max and that is without using GPS etc
