The Ionic brick

I have a Fitbit Ionic that will not even initiate setup.  I allowed a friend to try it first then I created an account.  I tried to connect and set it up to my account and it would not.  Reading through the posts here, it seems there may? be an issue when moving a fitbit from one account to another.  I called customer service and did not get anywhere.

IOS:

IPAD mini 2

Downloaded App

Tried to connect, recycles at the 4 digit pin with an http: error 500

Reset both IPAD and fitbit, ensured Bluetooth is not disconnected.

Tried again, nothing.  Cycled through the pin about a million times.

Android:

Sony Xperia XA2 Ultra

Error: Recycles after pin is entered and does not give an error message, but does not connect.

Same process.

Windows 10 Laptop:

Error: After pin is entered says Cannot connect to fitbit.com

Same process.

Factory reset watch, tried the same on all three, nothing

Factory reset using the buttons, because I could not get past the hello screen.

Factory reset led to Red X, tried same as above, still won't work.

Bluetooth is off on all other devices when trying the others, Wifi is strong, can't figure this out. Help I have a red x brick, and yes I have factory reset about 20 times now.

Are you doing the above through the Fitbit app , or through the phones bluetoorh settings @QWDuke .

When you switch to the other device, are you turning the Bluetooth off on the first device .IPad or phone? What version is the ipad? Is it relativly new?

Personally i think you want to continue with support .
