My Ionic was reasonably accurate up until three days ago.  I traveled from the US East Coast to Hawaii and on the first day, the Fitbit accurately recorded the 15+ miles we walked.  However, since then, it is not registering many steps at all and when it does register anything, it will show approx 200 steps throughout the day when I have walked 10-12 miles.

Have you tried restarting it by pressing and holding the left button and bottom right button together for 15 secs (until you see the fitbit logo)?
