I would like that the Fitbit Ionic should have messages that you can reply to on the watch

You are in luck. It looks like when OS 2.0 comes out some point this month we're going to get a quick reply feature.

I've just done some searching and the official word on a release date is Spring 2018, but I've seen another post that said its expected to arrive at the end of March.

 

Just noticed in your signature your on an iPhone, I should have ask that first. I've found this that seems to cast a little doubt on if replies will be available on iPhone...

 

Fitbit is currently looking to extend this functionality to support iOS, but right now this is not possible due to iOS’ closed notification system
