Fitbit ionic step counting frozen

So today my fitbit ionic stopped counting steps very subtly. I have noticed this issue 3 times (counting this time) since the last firmware update. The way to fix it is simple enough, just restarting the ionic, but its an issue non the less. If I didn't have notification to move for example then I wouldn't have realised that my steps weren't being counted. Is this a known bug to be fixed in the next update or just something I am experiencing ?

I havent heard of anyone else experiencing this. As the restarts are not providing a long term solution Id suggest you try a factory reset by going to the settings app on the Ionic and scrolling down to About. You will then need to set up all your apps and preferences again.

Just an update to this, after another look at the app in detail, I noticed that my heart rate wasn't logged for the hour as well.

In fact it seems to have been triggered by the notification to move as it started at 9:50 until I noticed at 10:50 when I got the notification to move (despite being active) and then did a restart.

The steps have frozen on 5772 and I have done at least 10,000 - have restarted, re selected device etc etc nothing changes - always problems with Fitbit - maybe in the long run Apple Watch is more reliable???
