After a run I took my Fitbit off. When I picked it up it would not respond. It was fully charged before my run. I put it on the charger and it is not responding to that either. I have tried to rest it but it does nothing. Only had my Fitbit a little over a year. Really disappointed if it is dead already since it cost so much money.

I have the same issue. My ionic is not responding to anything it has been a week. Timing is almost the same, just 15 months old. Fitbit is running fast to become a complete disappointment. I am intending take it back to where I bought it tomorrow. I will write down my experience.

My Fitbit had the same issue after about 16 months. After several resets I could access some functions, and reset the device to "factory settings". The step monitor doesn't work, and the heart rate monitor doesn't work. The time and GPS seem to work, but the battery now only lasts 1 day at most. So about half the useful functions are working. Fitbit client services couldn't help, but they did offer a discount if I wanted to buy a new one. Ha!
It seems the Ionic has a common issue. In Europe the warranty period is two years, and this would be covered.
