Have you tried restarting it? If not, hold down the left button and the bottom right button until you see the Fitbit logo.

I had to change the ionic for new one as it wasn’t counting steps it was 20 steps out and didnt help to rest it or anything. And this one is just as bad so changing to Garmin as it seems to count steps better
