For the past couple of days (as long as I've had my Ionic), it takes FOREVER for it to sync to my android phone. I get sync errors when I open the app and then the little wheel turns and the syncing icon above battery blinks but is greyed out - so it's not connecting.  Bluetooth is enabled and is connected to the watch (that's what the settings say anyway) and ALL DAY SYNC

For the past couple of days (as long as I've had my Ionic), it takes FOREVER for it to sync to my android phone. I get sync errors when I open the app and then the little wheel turns and the syncing icon above battery blinks but is greyed out - so it's not connecting.  Bluetooth is enabled and is connected to the watch (that's what the settings say anyway) and ALL DAY SYNC is enabled. Yesterday I force quit the app, and that didn't help.  Only after an hour or so did the syncing icon turn green and the syncing went on fine.

So, what's going on?  This is annoying.

I've had my Ionic for about a month without much, if any, problem syncing. However, the past 2 days I've had the exact same problem described above.  I've tried closing/reopening my app, updating my app, and disconnecting/reconnecting the Bluetooth.  None of these have helped.  Any advice from others who've had this problem and successfully resolved it is most appreciated!

@BMF14, when you say "disconnecting/reconnecting the Bluetooth", do you mean opening the phone's Bluetooth settings, select the Fitbit Ionic, telling it to Forget the device, and then re-opening the Fitbit app and syncing?   I have had good success doing that.  But, since I upgraded to Android Fitbit app v2.62 and restarted the phone, it has not had a problem syncing.

Same occurs here, fitbit Ionic doesn't sync anymore in combination with a Nokia 3 Android phone (7.1.1).

Same problem. I do not have the fitbit app on my phone so I only use the app on my computer which I uninstalled and reinstalled to make sure I had the most up to date version. I have turned Bluetooth off, and back on. Wifi will not stay connected to the Ionic. What is going on with this thing?
