Fitbit not uploading to Strava

My Fitbit ionic isn't always downloading to Strava, the problem began last week. I have ran 3 times since last Wednesday and only 1 run has gone on Strava. This isn't a problem I've had previously, has something changed?

First, check that all of your 3 runs contain GPS, since that is the root of most non-uploading problems. If they all do but still aren't syncing, go to the mobile dashboard at https://Fitbit.com and go to your account settings. There should be an option for “Applications”. Go down,  and you will see a Strava+Fitbit. Select Unlink and then Unlink in the Strava App. After you have completed that, re-link and you should be good to go.

I have disconnected and re-connected so many times since owning this infuriating device. This supposed functionality is so frustrating with Strava now missing many activities. Please at least allow past missing activities to be synced automatically to allow a catch-up when I occasionally get it to work

I'm having the same problem. The data synced to FitBit but will not upload to Strava. I have gone through all the troubleshooting un-syncing and re-syncing to no avail. And yes, I used GPS. Please fix this!

I have tried it and had no luck, I'm fed up because I'm recording my
mileage for the year on Strava. Not been a problem until last week.

I had this happen and it was because the authorization of Fitbit to my Strava account was lost. I re-authed and it starting working again. I had to manually add my missing run to Strava, but that was super easy to do.

Sure - it is easy. But when you have to do it once a week it gets very tedious. And wouldnt it be easier if the missing Strava entries were picked up automatically and synched. I also have a Garmin Forerunner and historical (relative to link authorisation date) exercise sessions are transferred to Strava

Agreed it should have a queuing mechanism that autoloads once connection is re-established. Looks like Android Wear 2.0 has that feature with Strava so this looks to be a Fitbit feature gap.
