Ever since the firmware update yesterday, my fitbit is overcounting steps. Before 9am this morning, it showed I had over 19,000 steps when I usually only have maybe 1,000. Any suggestions? I have re-started it but that didn't change anything.

@heidirh06 Welcome to the Fitbit Community! Thanks for reporting the situation you are experiencing with Ionic over counting steps since firmware update.
Are you still experiencing the same? It is possible that after the update your watch didn't reset itself at midnight that day causing that amount of steps to show. The restart won't delete your steps but it should prevent that from happening again.
Let me know if you are still experiencing the same! ![]()

Same for me. Ionic update on android Samsung S7 is now causing a ton of overcounting. Is there a fix coming?

Me too--4 days of 4-5K overcounting--both before and after firmware updating.
