Fitbit randomly vibrates, then screen locks

So I reported an issue to FB a little over a month ago. My ionic stopped tracking sleep

properly and also would randomly vibrate, then lock, as if I input the wrong security code too many times. A couple of times, I’d look at it and it looked like it was randomly showing numbers on the pin screen. I reset it. Took a few times before it did it correctly, but eventually it worked. Now it has the same issue, of course, not long after the 1 year warranty. Grrr. Any suggestions.

A warm welcome to the Community @SunsetRunner. Thanks for letting me know that you've reported this issue before.

It's pretty weird that your Ionic screen is randomly vibrating and blocking itself as if you were putting the wrong security code. I would like you to restart your Ionic and remove it from your account, after this please set it up again.

Remember that our Support team and we as Moderators are always here to help you.

Let me know how it goes.

I’ve removed the unit from the account, and factory reset it twice. It will only intermittently keep a bluetooth connection and now and I’ve set a PIN, but my ionic doesn’t seem to accept it. It also will not set any notifications. Please advise.
