Anyone noticed that the Ionic / FitbitOS is super lagging in the videos? Is a total disillusion....

The test units were equipped with beta software which is the reason they couldn't label their impressions reviews. The ionic is due for a software update by mid-September.

Yes I did notice this. I couldn't decide if it was the OS or a touch sensitivity issue. Bare in mind these (as far as I know) review units are not running final software.

That makes sense. Thanks for the reply. Actually I did not find any details on the processor so I thought that they use a cheap low performance chip to keep the costs down (though it's certainly not cheap)....and thereby sacrifying speed...
Could that also be a reason?

Processor speed is always a factor, but I'm betting they use the same or a similar processor as the competition. They all generally use the same silicone providers because it gives them economies of scale. I'm anxious to dive down into the hardware when it's released. This is Fitbits Hail Mary, so I doubt they skimped on anything, but you bring up a good point and we won't know until release.

I've noticed a pronounced lag in switching between screens since the latest software update.
