GPS Run Data Different Than What Ionic Shows

Went for a jog for the first time with the Ionic and used GPS tracking. There is a big discrepancy between the data that I have on the Ionic versus the data transferred to my phone. My Ionic said I ran 3 miles in 33 minutes, the data on my phone that was synced said I ran 3 miles in 54 minutes.  Granted, I wasn't burning up the track but that's a HUGE discrepancy in time.  Has anyone else had this issue? 

 

Could it be due to auto detect????

It's great to have you here @FredFornicola. Thanks for the details you've shared. It's really weird that the minutes aren't matching, I would like you to restart your Ionic and track it again. 

 

- Has this happened again?

- Did your Ionic showed you 33 minutes and then you saw 54 on your app?

- Was just the distance that changed or anything else?
