Hey,
I’m a Charge 3 and briefly Charge 4 owner who’s just got an Ionic.
I’m trying to figure out whether my Ionic has a couple of faults or whether they’re normal issues.
Firstly the GPS wouldn’t connect when I went for a walk. I was walking for over an hour and through a mixture of open fields suburban streets. My Charge 4 which also has a built in GPS would sometimes take up to a minute to connect to GPS but was always able to. (Side note: Please Please Please Fitbit make it possible to have the option to use connected GPS through your phone. I know some people would prefer not to carry their phone but if I’m gonna have it with me anyway, it’s got a better GPS and it saves the Fitbit’s battery it would be so useful!!)
My second issue is that my vibrations are very light. I have it set to Strong but compared to my Charge’s vibration it’s very weak and is barely noticeable. I like to use the alarm on my Fitbit to wake me up but can’t see it being a strong enough vibration. Is this normal for the Ionic or is my device faulty?
Thanks
