My GPS has worked about 15% of the time since I've owned it. It actually started working before I hit the warranty date so I didn't trade it in, but then it started working again. Fitbit won't replace it now, and the three times I've tried to get help, tech support has been completely useless.
The How to Use page doesn't even have a GPS topic.
Somebody give me some good news.

Hi @PJSTEED, welcome to the Community Forums!
I appreciate all the information and details that were shared in your post, thanks for troubleshooting this and contacting our Support team prior to posting. To better assist you with your GPS concern, can you please expand on this? Which difficulties you're currently experiencing with with your Ionic device?
When it comes to GPS connection, environmental factors including tall buildings, dense forest, steep hills, and even thick cloud cover can interfere with your watch's ability to connect to GPS satellites. For best results, wait for Ionic to find the signal before you start your workout.
Note that Ionic uses your step count to calculate distance until it finds a GPS signal. The total distance calculated for a workout may be slightly less accurate when GPS data isn't available for the entire time. For more information, see How accurate is GPS?
Let me know if you have any additional questions.

I did NOT accept this post as the solution. All you did was copy/paste that one help page, which is UNhelpful.
I’m switching to Garmin.
