Hi,
I'm just purchased my ionic 2 days ago. It seems like it can't lock the GPS location. It keeps showing searching instead of connecting/connected. I've been outdoor in the middle of the field for more than 15 minutes.
I've already performed a factory reset and update it to the latest firmware available (27.33.1.30). Is there any other solution for this?

Welcome to the Community @IzlHfy. Thanks for the details mentioned and the troubleshooting tried.
Environmental factors, including tall buildings, dense forest, steep hills, and even thick cloud cover, can interfere with your device’s or phone’s ability to connect to GPS satellites. If the signal is blocked—either because you're underground or due to another reason—GPS won't work.
All devices with GPS sensors require a direct path to GPS satellites to calculate location. A weak GPS signal might affect the accuracy of your route and other activity data. Your device uses your step count to calculate distance until it finds a signal, so the total distance calculated for a workout may be slightly less accurate when GPS isn't available for the entire time.
As a side note, please restart it and then try to track another activity.
Let me know how it goes.

Having the same issues. When I first got my Ionic it stayed connected during my whole walk. Now, for the past month, it has been losing signal after 2.5 miles and just says "searching". I understand it needs a signal but my location has not changed from the time it was working till now.

@Natmaurer Welcome to the Community. Thanks for the details mentioned.
It's pretty weird that your Ionic is loosing signal after 2.5 miles. Please restart your Ionic and try tracking another activity.
To gather more information reply to the following questions:
- Has this happened only with walk activity?
- Are you still walking in the same path that you used to?
Keep me posted!
