I downloaded the desktop app for my laptop and it initially came up with some random playlists I dont know where they came from. I was able to download one band to the itunes folders and get it on my Ionic. I tried repeating the process moving music files around and going to advanced settings to drill into music folders but i cant get the app to pick up anymore music. anyone experience this or know how to resolve this? thanks

The Fitbit Ionic when it connects iTunes (well when it did for me) it made some new playlists like recently played and so on.Why don’t you have all your songs you need in a single playlist and try that?

I have my own playlist (Via iTunes) for my music as well. Here is what I did that has worked:
1) Created a UNIQUE Playlist from within iTunes and placed that Playlist on my Ionic.
2) When I sync my Ionic and Music, when the playlist(s) appear, scroll down (if needed) to find YOUR Playlist.
3) When you locate YOUR Playlist, select it, so the Ionic will recognize the Playlist you want to add or modify.
4) After the Ionic and your computer complete the sync, you will get either a check mark on the Playlist you just synced or a Check Mark with a "Colored Background" and a large Check mark on your Ionic as well indicating both are in total sync.
5) After your Ionic and the music have synced, check the song count and make sure the Playlist and the Ionic are showing the same song count. If they are NOT, you may need to restart the Fitbit App on your PC and go through the above steps again.
Hope this helped, Good Luck and enjoy!
