Dallas has an 8 mile Turkey Trot run every Thanksgiving. Lately I just do it in my neighborhood and I'm more likely to walk now then run. Today the weather was beautiful and I work tomorrow anyway, so I went for my 8 mile walk this morning.
I had last charged my Ionic 2 nights ago. I was able to do my 8 Mile walk while listening to my new Bluetooth headphones. It took just over two hours. My ionic still has 32% charge left, and I think that's pretty impressive.
By the way, if you don't mind less-than-fashionable headphones, the $15 over the ear Sentry headphones from Big Lots worked great. I bought them yesterday. No dropouts, good sound.
Yes, I'm hoping for some firmware updates with asked for improvements, but I'm pretty happy with my purchase.

Great to hear how it worked out for your walk, @dermbrian! That is good battery life, considering it was using both the GPS and the Music for the 2-hour walk. I have some older Skullcandy Grind wireless headphones that work well, too.

I agree that's good battery life when using both! Awesome! Glad you are happy with both!
