Why, why on God's green earth is this fitbit ionic not compatible with one of the top flagship phones for this year. I've seen some half **ahem** answers to this question but none that actually fully explain why fitbit has dropped the ball on the compatibility. There has to be plenty of other people out there that agree how stupid this is on fitbits part that still hasn't found a solution to this after 2 months of this phones release.

I have a Charge HR 2 and a Pixel 2. All worked well until a week ago, when synchronisation randomly stopped all together. When removing and trying to add the device I'd get to "device found" page but no further. I went through all of the steps online and spent ages with Fitbit support - nothing. When removing and trying to add the device I'd get to "device found" page but no further. hey told me the Pixel 2 isn't compatible.
Then I stumbled on this thread and tried an earlier suggestion of reseting all network settings on my phone. It worked! Annoying as hell to setup all of my WiFi connections again, but worth it.
