Gps output to phone or computer?

I just completed my first bike with the ionic. I think it was running properly. It did say "connecting" the entire time and when I finished I had to pause it. How do I get the results to my phone or computer so I can see the map and elevations, etc? It seems that the only option I have is to end and delete the activity.

thanks...

If the watch did not actually connect and was trying "Connecting" the entire time then I doubt that there will be any GPS data to record.  Need to make sure it connects fully prior to starting your activity.  That said GPS can drop for any number of reasons during your workout, many of which can be beyond the control of the watch itself.

I see. How long should it take to connect? I've tried it in a few locations and let it go for a minute but it still said "connecting".

I did get mileage and speed data on the ionic. How would I get that if I wasn't connected?

1/19 Update: I completed a bike ride to work this morning and GPS did connect and I hit "play" on the Ionic and biked. The only option I could see when I arrived was to pause it, so I did that. After that I could view the details on the Ionic, but I really don't know what to do after that, because I thought I'd have a chance to see it on my iPhone. The only option I could see was to "end" the workout. I did that and I got a screen that said "nice work" and a few more details. Not sure what should happen after this or if I am doing something wrong.

Thanks in advance if you can assist...

It's possible it was connected even though it said "connecting" (just a guess).

As for the information, sync your watch either with phone or PC then check the app.  To get more detailed information try checking your dashboard on the fitbit site.  It's been a while since I did a GPS workout so I'm out of touch with what information is recorded and how it is displayed, maybe someone else will be able to clarify things for you, sorry I can't be the bearer of some outstanding and worthwhile info at thos time.
