I currently have purchased both the Apple 3series and the ionic and are testing them both because i couldn’t decide which one I preferred. I absolutely love everything about the ionic except for the fact that the heart rate is not accurate. The harder I exercise and more I swear, the more inaccurate it is. I had the Fitbit surge two years ago and stopped wearing it for exactly this reason. I’m shocked that they can’t fix this problem. Apple3 seems to work fine. Bummed because Inreally donprefer the ionic for everything else. Anyone else having the same problem?

This seems to be the problem with the new Versa too.  I'm thinking of returning my Versa while I still can because the heart rate is so inaccurate.  If they have been having this problem with the older Ionic, then it tells me that they really don't have a fix for it.  Guessing it is a hardware rather than firmware issue that both watches have since they use the same sensor.  My old Charge2 had an acceptable heart rate.
