Last week, I had an issue with the calories burned and minutes of activity counts. I did a factory reset, reactivated my Ionic, and updated to the latest update. That seemed to fix the issue for a few days. On the weekend, the problem reappeared with the addition of an incorrect heart rate; all counts are triple of what they should be. What's the solution to fix this?

Hello @Sigint thanks for bringing this to my attention, it's a pleasure to assist you with your Ionic concern. Welcome to our Community Forums.
First, I'd like to appreciate your effort and patience troubleshooting your device prior to posting. Let me share with you that the incorrect amount of calories burned and activity may be related to the heart rate concern you're experiencing. That said, please take in consideration that heart rate reading can be affected by any number of factors at a given moment, including movement, temperature, humidity, stress level, physical body position, caffeine intake, and medication use.
If you were exercising when you noticed discrepancies in your heart-rate readings, the type of exercise or the position of the device may be the cause. See this help article for more information. If you can’t explain the differences in your heart-rate readings, please answer the following questions to help us investigate:
- What kind of activity did you perform when you detected inaccuracies in your heart rate readings?
- How close and high on the arm are you wearing your device?
Looking forward to your reply, let me know if you have any additional questions.
