I was wondering if there are any plans to offer a heart rate recovery metric to Fitbit's products. Is the current lineup capable of doing this, or will this require updated heart rate monitoring hardware?

Thanks!

Hi @SunsetRunner ,

What I do to mesaure HRR is start a new Workout activity on the watch, and let than run from the end of the workout until reaching RHR. What were you envisioning?

That would be an amazing feature on the Fitbit app/watch. One of the only reasons I’d switch. I love Fitbit but RHR is one of the most important ways to analyze your health. I hope they add a similar feature soon.

Here is a great post by a Cardiologist on the Heart Rate Recovery and its usefulness as a predictor of mortality.  Heart Rate recovery: A simple and Powerful predictor of Mortality now available on your Apple Watch.

It would be really nice to see fitbit implement this feature.
