Heart rate tracking accuracy issue after firmware update

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

First of all I can see when the exact issue started as my resting heart rate in my history shot up to 66bpm from 59. I am a Paramedic with search and rescue, so I am fit, and I have double checked the readings with my own equipment multiple times. The Ionic is reading now on avg 10bpm higher than actual during rest, and up to 26bpm faster than actual during light excercise. The inaccurate readings make tracking exercise and calorie intake useless, and nobody paid hundreds of dollars for a pedometer.

I have done the prescribed retarting of the cardio tracker and of the fitbit itself. The solutions offered by fitbit did not work..

The problem is in the update.

Please correct ASAP or recall the devices.
