Heart rate tracking

Is there anyone who has any success with the heart rate accuracy?  Granted a wrist versus strap isn't as accurate.  I had 2 blazes and they were consistent all the time. Very disappointed that even the smallest movement makes my heart rate ridiculous! Then it will jump back down 10 beats at a time- crazy!

10 BPM isnt anything, especially if you're actually moving. At the least, perhaps your Ionic is quicker to react to BPM changes over your previous watch.

Yeah, the only issue is I was sitting down when it went up and down. I wasn't moving or exercising. It also went from 96BPM to 37BPM. Clearly not accurate.

I am very happy with the Ionic heart rate tracking. For me it’s miles better than the Blaze and Charge2 I have used. I tend to wear the Ionic (and others before it) a bit tight, just above my wristbone. When running I use a Polar M430 on my other wrist and both Ionic and Polar are usually within one or two beats. I really think it has to do with how tight you wear it.

Occasionally when cycling or walking the Ionic measures my heartrate too low. That is resolved by resetting the Ionic. I now do that every few days and that seems to help the accuracy a lot. I guess it’s a little software quirk.
